Opportunities for Young People

We have an Ellis Bates team working on a number of initiatives to deliver on our commitment to being an ‘Education Champion’ where we work with individual schools and teachers to provide financial education to students. We will be providing structured work experience for young people as we recognise that those entering the job market may disproportionately suffer from severe economic dislocations, (something we have seen in 2020). A key part will be to help young people to entering the job market, whether it be with CVs, Linkedin profiles, Social Media awareness, interview skills and/or career progression.

Financial Clinics

As soon as we can safely get people together, we will offer free financial clinics offering support and guidance on key financial matters to help people back on track and to relieve some of the stresses of planning for life events.

Charity Partners

We have a dedicated Charity team at Ellis Bates. Each year we choose our selected charities and we hold events amongst our colleagues to raise money.  Last year we raised £3,300 and activities included abseiling down our 4 story building in Harrogate, as well as themed lunches, dress down days, raffles and cake sales.
