I have worked in the financial services industry since 2009 and joined Ellis Bates in 2013 where I trained initially in financial administration and then moved into Paraplanning where I became Team Leader. Having enjoyed working closely with financial advisers to provide tailored, personal financial advice I decided to progress and complete the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, with the Chartered Insurance Institute and to become a qualified Financial Adviser.
I provide advice in all areas of financial planning and very much enjoy getting to know my clients and how best I can help. I specialise in using sophisticated cashflow modelling software to illustrate and develop your lifetime financial goals, showing if you are ‘on track’ and where there are any potential shortfalls which we then put plans in place to address.
I work alongside the Equity Release, Protection and Wills and Trusts teams to offer you expert financial solutions and services, from starting your investment or pensions strategy journeys right up to protecting your family’s inheritance in later life – and everything in between.
I also work closely with our in-house independent Investment Team, who research, analyse and offer first class multi faceted investment propositions, including socially responsible options, with an extensive range of strategies to suit all risk appetites.
Outside of work I am a keen sports fan. I enjoy all sports, in particular golf and football, following Leeds United’s ups and downs! I live in Harrogate about a stone’s throw from the main office, with my girlfriend and our two cats, apologies if they walk across the screen as we speak…
