I am Diploma qualified and a member of both the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society. Since receiving my degree from Newcastle University, for nearly a decade I have been helping clients achieve their financial goals.
I joined Ellis Bates in 2017 where I specialise in providing tailored, personal financial advice including pension planning and retirement forecasting, savings and investments, tax planning, and both individual and family life insurance and protection. I work closely with colleagues at Ellis Bates to offer mortgage and equity release advice, along with the estate planning team to provide Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney to ensure that I am able to meet your every need.
Getting to know you and understanding your financial circumstances, goals, and aspirations sit at the heart of my approach to financial planning; my attention to detail will be evident in the financial plan we can create together. I see our relationship as a partnership – I am with you all the way through the financial planning journey where you dictate the pace, and the choice is always yours.
Following a free, initial consultation, we will work together to plan your big, lifetime events, be that a wedding, buying an overseas holiday home, or a long and happy financially stable retirement. Utilising tools such as cashflow modelling we can forecast future scenarios and predict their achievability – we can see if you are on track to reach your goal, or whether we need to put some plans in place to meet them. Whatever stage in life you may be at, financial planning can be of real benefit and value, and I am here to offer my expert advice and support throughout.
Through the Personal Finance Society, our professional body, I am an Education Champion and spend time visiting local schools and presenting workshops to students, helping educate the next generation on basic finance and preparing them for life after school.
Outside of work I enjoy keeping fit, going on local walks, and spending time with family and friends. With a passion for travelling, I have been lucky to visit some beautiful parts of the world, have interrailed around Europe, and have a newfound passion for skiing.
