I have more than 25 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry in a variety of roles including working with household names such as Prudential, Barclays and Nat West/RBS.
I have an Honours Degree in Business Studies and I am a member of both the Personal Finance Society and The Chartered Insurance Institute and I am a Diploma Qualified Financial Planner.
I believe that financial advice should be accessible to everyone and I work with a very wide and diverse cross section of personal and family, and corporate circumstances.
My passion is not just financial education but also in helping people from all walks of life achieve financial security for themselves and to understand just how seeking financial advice can be life changing.
At Ellis Bates we have an inhouse Investment Team which supports myself and all our Financial Planners in offering a wide range of investment services including new-to-investing start-up investors through to multiple portfolio holders wanting expert input. We offer an extensive socially responsible investment portfolio for you to align with your sustainable and ethical wishes.
I work extensively helping clients with their pension planning including pension options, pension drawdown and pension consolidation and then moving through to retirement planning and cashflow modelling to bring your retirement plans and goals to life.
I work with clients on later life planning, long term care, inheritance tax planning and protection for individuals, families and businesses.
I work alongside the Mortgage, Equity Release, Wills, Trusts and Lasting Power of Attorney teams at Ellis Bates to be able offer you a truly comprehensive service – from saving up for your first home to protecting your family’s inheritance in later life – and everything in between.
In my spare time I love ballroom dancing and would eventually like to teach the elderly to stay active in later life which can prevent dementia. I love time with family and friends, the theatre, reading, and I am paid-up member of the Dyspraxia Society, a charity for families with learning difficulties.
