Portfolio Manager

Location: Harrogate
Reporting to the Investment Director, the role consists of many responsibilites including;
– The formulation and implementation of the Ellis Bates (EB) Portfolios investment strategies in line with the EB Investment Policy Statement
– Asset/sector/fund idea generation & analysis
– Qualitative and quantitative due diligence of funds and overall portfolios
– Analysing market and portfolio risks

Location: Scotland, Bristol & London
To generate profitable new business for the firm primarily from lead generation sources (internal/external sources) and identifying own sources of new business through professional connections or internal marketing campaigns to achieve individual expectation targets. The Recruitment Process

The process varies depending upon the level of the role applied for, but typically it will involve an initial telephone interview with our HR Manager. If successful, you will be invited to a competency-based interview with the recruiting Manager and the HR Manager. Depending upon the role, a further interview may take place.
